PROBLEM: What brand of detergent will best remove mud stain on cheese cloth?
OBJECTIVE: To determine the brand of detergent that will remove mud stain the best on cheese cloth.
MATERIALS: 15 pieces of 4"x4" white cheese cloth, mud set-up on a basin, detergent A(Surf), detergent B(Tide), detergent C(Ariel), 3 basins with 1 L of tap water on each
PROCEDURE/S: Soak all cheese cloths on the mud stain set-up all at the same time for 30 minutes. Then, let the stainned cloths be dried for another 30 minutes.
Prepare the set-ups of the detergents. On each basin with 1 L of tap water, put detergent A, on another basin detergent B, and on the third basin detergent C. The amount of each detergent to be put is 3 scoops.
After the cloths have been dried up, soak three cloths on each detergent solution for thirty minutes. Then, rinse all the cloths with water. Let them dry for twenty minutes. Observe the cloths and record the findings.
